The warden of Jharpara (Bhubaneswar ) Jail Manas Ranjan Naik (23 ) shoot dead by unknown miscreants on Sunday evening. The young warder of Jharpara jail Manas Ranjan Naik were shoot fom close range.He was immediately admitted in a local private Hospital. In the last month he had joined in the Jharpara jail after compleating his training. He is a resident of Sinapashi village of Keonjhar district under Dhenkikote Police Station.Police has seized the used empty bullets from the spot.
The Laxmisagar Police is inquiring the incident with scientific team.Home Secretary Aditya Prasad Padhi , Additional D.G. of Police (Jail ) V.Tagyagarajan., D.C.P. Himamsu Lal and other high level home department officials immediately reached in the Hospital to see his condition. But inspite of all efforts of the Doctors in vain. At last the Doctors declaired him dead.
To nab the murderrs of Jail warden Police has encountered near Deba Ray College on Monday and abale to nab one miscreant Mitu and seized 25 round bullete and 4 revolvers from him. Other two manage to escape. The Police is suspecting that all are belongs to haidar gang .
