Orissa doctors differed strike for two months

Bhubaneswar (Orissa) : The Orissa Medical Service Association ( OMSA) has deferred the cease work plan from today for two months.
Meanwhile Health and Family welfare Minister Prassana Acharya said the govt would examine all aspects regarding implementation of the DACP for the doctors and take a decision in three months.
He further said that all the demand of the doctors few months back. iIntroduction of DACP is a new demand which the Govt will examine it.
Meanwhile OSMA president Dr Madhusudan Mishra warned that if the Govt fails to keep its words the docs will launch ceasework.

Arrest warrant against Pak Interior Minister

A judge in Pakistan has ordered an arrest warrant to be issued against Interior Minister Rehman Malik on corruption charges. his comes after the supreme court ruled on Wednesday that an amnesty protecting senior members of government was unconstitutional. Mr Malik is among about 250 officials whose corruption and criminal cases have been re-opened. The controversial amnesty was brought in by the former president, Pervez Musharraf, and its scrapping opens the way forpossible prosecution of allies of the current President, Asif Zardari. Meanwhile, Pakistan’s main opposition, the Pakistan Muslim League-N of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, has asked the president to resign.
