Political Love: A Bird’s Eye view

By Bipin Bihari Mohanty

‘Political Love’ by Akhand is a book on Political satire. The book consists of 62 literary compositions with an aim to eradicate and prevent vices. It is known from articles that Mr. Akhand is a courageous and impartial critic. He is bold enough to bring out the nature of our political leaders, officer in police department, Raping and exploitation in name of Services, the story behind the Media, Naxalism, Terrorism and peasant politics, the step motherly feeling and negligence towards our mother tongue and such merry making and feasting that we celebrate on our important days such as New Years day etc.

When the polluted politics, the crime of the police and corruptions from grass root level to the top are published and discussed in media without a substance for its end, Mr. Akhand finds some way for solution through his patient medicines by way of some advice and humorous.

The targeted one of each article needs legal punishment for his/her crime; but he is not the real authority to do so. Still he never fails to give him/her/them his mild strike by the way of his sarcasm cal remarks which is cretin to pain them.

The victims of his targeted goals are not ordinarily people like you and me; but of prominent personalities of high political and Government officials. He is quite adventurous and courageous to hit to the tails of those cobras.

The title of the book, articles there in and concerned characters are exact and justified to the respective nature and title.

It is needless to give an elaborate picture of the contents. They themselves are self explanatory. The reader can understand them very well. Still some of the articles such as: SUSHREE MAYA DEVI, GALU, SEKH PAROBOLA, PASU DAKTARA, FEELING GOOD, NAXALY RAJNEETI, JAMA DAKTARA BHAI BHAI, DG SAHEEB, SAMBADIKANKA CHABISHIJANIYA TALIKA, DIHA KUTII, ODISHA BANDH, BHARAT BANDH, HATYA KU ATMAHATYA and MATRUBHASRA MAMATA need our deep attention.

To create public awareness, eradicate and prevent crime and corruption, I can say it is an innovative and new step of Mr. Akhand..

I thank him for taking so much pain for the book.

I suppose, the readers will find the book to the best of their heart.
